Lahore: The newly elected cabinet of the TDCP Workers & Staff Union (CBA) took oath at a ceremony held at Qualgent Fort on PIA Road, Lahore. Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab Managing Director Asim Raza attended as chief guest and administered the oath to the new office-bearers. Baldiyat Times reported the ceremony on September 18, while APP independently confirms Asim Raza’s current designation as TDCP Managing Director.
Union President Mehar Muhammad Mansha and General Secretary Muhammad Adil Saleem highlighted employee welfare, service-related issues and other demands. The union said it would work for employees’ rights while maintaining cooperation with the TDCP administration.
Asim Raza congratulated the new cabinet and said legitimate employee issues would be considered on priority, stressing better coordination between management and staff. According to the event transcript provided with the footage, he also announced arrangements for an insurance policy for workers; this specific insurance announcement was not included in the published Baldiyat Times report, so it should be treated as an event-statement-based update.
Recently promoted TDCP officers and employees were also congratulated during the ceremony.
