PDWP approves six development projects worth Rs 10.3 billion

Lahore: The Provincial Development Working Party has approved six major development schemes with a total estimated cost of Rs 10.305 billion during its 69th meeting chaired by P&D Board Chairman Dr Naeem Rauf. The approved projects include dualization and rehabilitation of key road corridors such as Okara-Depalpur Road, Sheikhupura-Farooqabad route, and Lodhran-Jalalpur Road, along with construction of a flyover at Pathanwala railway crossing. Additionally, an integrated record preservation and public access system will be established at divisional headquarters to improve governance. Officials stated that these projects aim to enhance road connectivity, streamline public services, and support economic growth, while strengthening infrastructure and administrative efficiency across Punjab.
