Several road development projects have been approved under the Own Source Revenue initiative to improve urban and rural infrastructure in the district. The projects include construction, rehabilitation and improvement of important roads to enhance connectivity and public facilities. According to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Dairy Road, Azad Road, New Urdu Bazaar Road, Grain Market Road, Pilot School Road and Ara Market Road will be upgraded. The approved projects have been allocated around Rs175.79 million for development work.
