Multan approves five temporary Eid cattle sale points

Multan: The district administration has approved five temporary cattle sale points across the city and surrounding areas ahead of Eidul Azha. The decision is aimed at managing animal trade in an organized way, reducing pressure on roads, and providing citizens with designated places for buying sacrificial animals. Temporary cattle markets also help authorities monitor cleanliness, traffic flow, veterinary support, security, and waste management during the Eid season. This step matters because unregulated animal sale points can create congestion, sanitation issues, and public inconvenience in residential and commercial areas. Properly managed sale points can support local trade, transport activity, and seasonal business while protecting urban order. Can planned cattle markets improve Eid management in Multan?
