Mian Marghoob Ahmad credits Pakistan for Iran-US ceasefire

Lahore: LDA Vice Chairman Mian Marghoob Ahmad has praised Pakistan’s leadership for its role in facilitating dialogue and easing tensions between Iran and the United States. He credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for contributing to de-escalation and preventing a potential large-scale conflict. According to him, Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have strengthened its image as a peace-promoting nation and elevated its global standing. He also expressed optimism that continued negotiations would reduce global economic pressures, including inflation caused by geopolitical instability. Analysts believe this development could open new avenues for economic growth and enhance Pakistan’s strategic importance on the international stage.
