Govt considers fuel purchase limits per vehicle

Pakistan: The government is considering a new fuel policy that may introduce limits on how much petrol each vehicle can purchase. Officials stated that the proposal aims to manage fuel demand, ensure fair distribution and reduce pressure on national reserves. Authorities indicated that changes in petrol station regulations could be implemented soon. The move is being reviewed in response to rising fuel consumption and economic challenges. Experts believe that such limits could impact daily travel patterns, transport operations and fuel planning for citizens, while helping stabilize supply and prevent shortages across the country.
