LESCO Announces Uninterrupted Power Supply Plan for Basant

LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has finalized all arrangements to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during the three-day Basant festival. LESCO Chief Muhammad Ramzan Butt directed field formations to maintain continuous power supply while ensuring the safety of electricity infrastructure across the city. Speaking to City 42, he said preparations have been completed and urged citizens to avoid the use of metallic kite strings to prevent accidents and power disruptions. He added that LESCO teams will remain on high alert throughout Basant to handle any emergency situations. Muhammad Ramzan Butt also announced that he would personally join citizens in celebrating Basant in Lahore’s inner city areas.
