LDA seals 88 illegal commercial properties in multiple areas

Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Town Planning Wing has intensified its crackdown against illegal commercial buildings and fee defaulters on the directions of DG LDA Tahir Farooq. During operations conducted in various LDA-controlled areas, officials sealed 88 properties for unlawful commercial use and non-payment of commercialisation fees. The action was carried out in Samanabad, Gulshan Ravi, Defence Road, Faisal Town, Model Town Extension, NESPAK Society, GCP and Johar Town. The sealed units include private schools, colleges, restaurants, clinics, pharmacies, property offices, beauty salons, auto workshops and retail outlets. The operation was supervised by Chief Town Planner Asad-uz-Zaman and Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali. Authorities say indiscriminate enforcement will continue.
