LDA Seals 88 Illegal Commercial Properties Across Lahore

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has intensified its enforcement drive against illegal commercial buildings and defaulters of commercial fees, sealing 88 properties across Lahore. Acting on the directives of DG LDA Tahir Farooq, teams from the Town Planning Wing conducted operations in LDA-controlled areas including Wapda Town, Gulberg, Model Town, Canal Bank Road, and Mustafa Town. Properties were sealed for unauthorized commercial use and non-payment of commercial fees. In Wapda Town alone, 47 properties were sealed, while 18 properties were sealed in Gulberg and Model Town, and 13 along Canal Bank Road. An additional 10 properties were sealed during recovery operations in Mustafa Town. Sealed establishments include banks, schools, clinics, grocery stores, pharmacies, workshops, showrooms, restaurants, salons, offices, and shops. Officials stated that indiscriminate enforcement will continue.
