Lahore’s Major Signal-Free Corridor Near Arfa Tech Park to Boost Commuter Flow

Lahore: A significant development project is underway in Lahore to create a major signal-free corridor near Arfa Software Technology Park. The plan includes the construction of two flyovers and an elevated Metro Bus bridge to alleviate congestion in one of the city’s busiest areas. The project is designed to streamline traffic by separating flows, eliminating stops at signals, and improving travel time for daily commuters on Ferozepur Road and surrounding routes. Authorities believe this upgrade will not only ease traffic but also reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions. This initiative is part of Lahore’s broader effort to modernize its road infrastructure, with an eye on accommodating the city’s rapid urban growth. Once completed, the Arfa Tower area is expected to become one of the most efficient traffic corridors, setting a benchmark for future projects.
