The Transport Department inspected 4,184 vehicles between November 1 and 8, issuing 877 challans, sealing 288 vehicles, and imposing Rs. 8 million in fines. Officials reported 255 FIRs and 208 arrests for smog violations, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy against polluting transport and factories.
