Lahore traffic crackdown intensifies, 2100 violations challaned

Ali Raza Wajid: Lahore: City Traffic Police Lahore has intensified its enforcement campaign to improve traffic discipline and ensure public safety across the city. Under the directions of CTO Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi, a special crackdown was launched on model roads, resulting in 2132 challans for various violations. Authorities impounded 818 vehicles involved in serious offenses, while 690 motorcyclists were fined for lane violations. Additional actions included penalties for one-way breaches, signal violations, underage driving, and 630 riders without helmets. Monitoring is being carried out through Safe City and body cameras.
