Lahore to introduce dedicated bike lanes on major roads for safer travel

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed the development of dedicated bike lanes on major roads across Lahore to improve road safety and traffic management. The initiative aims to provide safer commuting options for motorcyclists, who make up a major part of the city’s daily transportation system. Dedicated lanes are expected to improve traffic flow, reduce conflicts between vehicles and motorcycles, and support better urban mobility. The project is part of broader efforts to enhance Lahore’s road infrastructure and create a more organised transportation network.
