Lahore: Rescue officials reported 223 traffic accidents in the provincial capital during the last 24 hours, leaving 265 people injured across different areas of the city. According to the Rescue spokesperson, emergency services were provided to all affected persons, while 98 seriously injured victims were immediately shifted to hospitals for medical treatment. Another 166 people with minor injuries were given first aid on the spot. The figures highlight growing concerns around road safety, traffic discipline and emergency response pressure in Lahore. Frequent accidents can affect daily mobility, commercial movement and public confidence in busy urban corridors. Safer roads also support business access and property value stability. Will stronger enforcement reduce Lahore’s accident rate?
