Lahore Development Program Phase-I Completed

The Government of Punjab has successfully completed Phase-I of the Lahore Development Program, delivering record infrastructure upgrades across Lahore. Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza, the district administration completed construction and rehabilitation of over 5,500 streets, laid 316 kilometres of sewerage lines, and restored operations at 10 disposal stations in areas including Ravi, Data Ganj Bakhsh, Nishtar, and Shalimar towns. Officials also activated 20,000 streetlights and introduced durable tuf tiles in residential streets. Completed projects will be inaugurated from January 20. Phase-II includes 8,000 additional streets, with 1,500 already completed and a final deadline of June 30, 2026.
