The district administration of Lahore, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza, has launched a large-scale anti-encroachment operation as part of the Government of Punjab’s “Suthra Punjab” vision. Over the past 72 hours, authorities removed 1,709 permanent and temporary encroachments from major roads and commercial areas, including Anarkali, Mall Road, Shahdara, Township, Ferozepur Road, GT Road, Johar Town, Shalimar, Mughalpura, and Multan Road. In addition, 12,815 illegal banners and flex boards were removed to restore city aesthetics and ensure smooth traffic flow.
