Lahore Development Programme Phase-1 Completed with 5,643 Schemes

The district administration of Lahore has successfully completed 5,643 development schemes under Phase-1 of the Lahore Development Programme (LDP), launched under the vision of Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The progress was reviewed in a high-level meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza at Town Hall, attended by senior officials from MCL, WASA and NESPAK.Authorities confirmed that 3,885 street boards have been installed and 11,931 street-light points are fully functional across the city. Physical inspections of 4,272 schemes have been completed, while over 4,000 streets are currently under development in Phase-2. The DC emphasized quality control, transparency, traffic safety, and inter-departmental coordination to ensure long-term public benefit.
