Lahore: Development work on the floating restaurant project at Canal Road near Journalist Housing Scheme is moving forward as the district administration reviews construction progress and planning details. Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ijaz visited the site and examined the ongoing work, where officials briefed him on engineering standards, final design, landscaping, traffic management, and safety measures. Authorities have directed all departments to maintain high construction quality, ensure smooth traffic flow, and prepare a comprehensive beautification plan around the site. The project is expected to strengthen tourism, create a new recreational landmark, and improve the visual appeal of Canal Road.
