Karachi residents protest prolonged electricity load-shedding

Karachi: Residents of Karachi staged a protest by blocking the road from Habib University to Johar Chowrangi over prolonged and unannounced electricity load-shedding. Demonstrators expressed frustration over extended power outages, which have severely disrupted daily life, business activities, and mobility in the area. Protesters demanded immediate action from authorities to restore stable electricity supply. Traffic on this busy route was suspended for several hours, causing significant inconvenience to commuters. Police and local administration intervened to manage the situation and restore order. Residents warned of further protests if the issue remains unresolved, highlighting growing public concern over energy reliability in the city.
