Islamabad: A major infrastructure project has been launched to directly connect Margalla Road with the motorway, aiming to improve travel convenience and reduce congestion in the capital. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the site and reviewed progress on the 2.7-kilometer project, which includes three-lane roads on both sides, a two-lane service road, two underpasses, and a bridge on GT Road. Officials have been directed to complete the Sangjani Interchange by July 31, 2026, with overall project completion expected by December 2026. This development under the Real Estate Core Cluster highlights a strong focus on urban connectivity and transport efficiency. For Lahore and Punjab investors, improved road infrastructure enhances property value and accessibility. Will this project ease traffic in Islamabad?
