Ali Raza Wajid : Lahore: Chief Traffic Officer Lahore Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi chaired a meeting with licensing staff to review the performance of driving licensing centers across the city. He issued strict directives that any official found involved in corruption will face dismissal from service rather than suspension. The CTO emphasized zero tolerance for misconduct, negligence, and poor public dealing. Authorities were instructed to strengthen monitoring and surveillance at driving centers and take strict action against tout mafias operating around offices. He added that all licensing offices will operate from 8 AM to 12 AM to facilitate citizens. Currently, Lahore has 12 testing centers and 33 facilitation centers, with a fully paperless system ensuring transparency through video-recorded processes.
