Islamabad IT Park to Create 10,000 Jobs with South Korean Funding

The Islamabad IT Park, funded through a $76.3 million loan from South Korea, is expected to create around 10,000 jobs once it becomes operational, marking a major boost for Pakistan’s technology sector.Officials said the project aims to strengthen the country’s IT and digital services ecosystem, provide modern infrastructure for tech companies, and attract local as well as international investors.The IT Park will offer state-of-the-art facilities for software development, startups, research, and innovation, helping Pakistan expand its IT exports and skilled employment base.Authorities noted that the project reflects growing international cooperation and confidence in Pakistan’s technology potential, while also supporting long-term economic growth and youth employment in the federal capital.
