Green Property Certificate Launched in Okara

Punjab’s digital property verification system — the Green Property Certificate — has now reached Okara, following successful rollout in Sialkot, Sahiwal, Lodhran, and Hafizabad. The system ensures that every land record is transparent, secure, and digitally verified, reducing the chances of fraud and making property transactions more reliable for citizens.Officials stated that the initiative aims to bring transparency, convenience, and public trust into the property market by providing a single, verified document that confirms ownership and authenticity. The Green Property Certificate is part of the provincial government’s broader agenda to modernize land administration and introduce digital reforms across all districts. The expansion to Okara marks another step toward province-wide digital property governance.
