Remodeling of Data Darbar & Bhatti Chowk to Begin This Week: LDA & Auqaf

In a high-level meeting chaired by the Vice Chairman of LDA and the Secretary of the Auqaf Department, officials reviewed the remodeling and expansion plans for Data Darbar and Bhai Chowk. The project aims to redesign the area to better manage crowds, enhance safety, and improve visitor experience.Under the plan, new parking zones, seating areas, and pedestrian pathways will be developed around Data Darbar. Authorities also emphasized the removal of encroachments, improved cleanliness, and proper traffic flow management.TEPA is set to begin construction work this week, marking the start of a major urban development step to uplift one of Lahore’s busiest and most visited locations.
