Govt Announces New Facilities on Murree Expressway

Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has announced new facilities on the Islamabad–Murree Expressway following a review visit to assess beautification, expansion, and completed development works. Officials briefed the minister that the expressway project has been completed and is ready for inauguration. The minister directed authorities to construct a mosque at the rest areas, including separate prayer facilities for women, and issued a one-week deadline to finalize remaining works. He stated that the National Highway Authority ensured durable construction with improved lighting, green belts, service roads, and modern amenities.
