Government cuts diesel price by Rs 32.12 per litre

Islamabad: The federal government has announced a significant reduction in diesel prices by Rs 32.12 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs 353.43 per litre. Officials stated that the decision follows a decline in global oil prices and aims to provide relief to the public amid ongoing economic pressures. The reduction is expected to lower transportation costs, ease inflationary trends, and support various sectors including logistics and agriculture. Authorities emphasized that the move will help stabilize fuel expenses and improve affordability for consumers, while also positively impacting supply chains and overall economic activity across the country.
