Development Work Accelerates to Upgrade Lahore’s Alhamra Art Center

LAHORE: Development work at the historic Alhamra Art Center is progressing rapidly to upgrade the cultural landmark to international standards. Authorities confirmed that after sewerage excavation, the installation of a new pipeline has been completed, helping resolve long-standing infrastructure issues. Officials said the ground area will be fully prepared ahead of upcoming festivals to provide improved facilities for citizens and members of the arts community. The administration added that development activities are being carried out in phases to ensure minimal disruption. During the month of Ramadan, renovation and beautification work of various halls will also be undertaken. The initiative aims to modernize Alhamra Art Center while preserving its cultural importance and strengthening its role as a key hub for arts and cultural activities in Lahore.
