Delayed drainage work slows Burki Road upgrade in Lahore

Lahore: The Burki Road upgradation project is facing delays after drainage work between Paragon City and Green City reportedly began at a late stage. The Lahore Development Authority divided the first phase into three sections: Burki Chowk to Paragon City, Paragon City to Green City and Green City to LSC. Stone-laying work has reportedly been completed on the first and third sections, while drainage installation has affected progress on the second. The delayed work has created difficulties for commuters, particularly during peak traffic hours. Residents have called for better coordination between LDA and WASA and faster completion of the road and drainage infrastructure. (City42)
