CM Maryam Nawaz highlights health reforms on World Health Day

Punjab: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in her message on World Health Day, reaffirmed her commitment to providing quality healthcare facilities across the province. She emphasized the importance of balanced diet, exercise and disease prevention while urging citizens to prioritize both physical and mental health. Officials stated that under the “Sehatmand Punjab” vision, major health reforms are underway, including free medicines, expansion of hospitals and introduction of services like air ambulance and mobile health units. Authorities highlighted that projects such as Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital and Jinnah Institute of Cardiology are nearing completion. The government aims to ensure accessible and affordable healthcare for all citizens.
