Punjab accelerates clean water projects with AI monitoring dashboard

Lahore: The Punjab government has made significant progress in its clean water programme by introducing advanced monitoring mechanisms to ensure timely completion of projects. Officials announced the development of a live digital dashboard equipped with AI features and real-time data collection to enhance transparency and efficiency. A dedicated Punjab Safe Water Authority complex will also be established in the provincial capital, while field teams will be formed at the tehsil level to improve on-ground implementation. In the first phase, multiple districts including Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, and Chakwal have been included for filtration plant installations. Authorities emphasized strict monitoring, warning that delays in project execution will result in administrative action to ensure deadlines are met.
