Islamabad: The federal government has approved the extension of the Murree Expressway by 70 kilometres up to Muzaffarabad. The project was approved during a meeting of the National Highway Authority (NHA) chaired by Communications Minister Abdul Aleem Khan. The extension aims to improve connectivity between Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan’s motorway network. Officials said the new road will provide faster, safer, and more comfortable travel for commuters and tourists. The minister directed the NHA to complete ongoing projects on priority before starting new ones.
