Punjab promotes 35 officers to Grade 19, issues continuation orders

Lahore: The Punjab government has issued a notification promoting 35 officers to Grade 19 and allowing them to continue in their current positions. Among those promoted are DC Gujrat Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, DC Sargodha Hussain Ahmed Raza, Additional Secretary Home Maham Asif, and Additional DG LDA Housing Owais Mushtaq. Officials from various departments including health, administration, and the Chief Minister’s Office have also been included in the promotion list. Authorities stated that the move aims to strengthen administrative efficiency and improve governance across departments. The decision reflects ongoing efforts to recognize performance and ensure continuity in key positions to maintain operational stability in the provincial administrative structure.
