Lahore: The Punjab government has launched a new digital initiative allowing citizens to report lost documents online through the Punjab Police Pakistan app. The service enables users to register the loss of CNIC, passport, driving license, and other essential documents from home without visiting police stations or service centers. Officials stated that once a report is submitted through the app, the FIR related to the lost documents will also be delivered digitally. The initiative aims to save time and resources while improving public access to essential services through technology. Authorities emphasized that the step reflects a broader push towards digital governance and enhanced citizen facilitation across the province.
