Punjab speeds up Ring Road upgrades, sets two-month deadline

Lahore: The Punjab government has accelerated beautification, maintenance, and repair work on the Ring Road under its Clean and Green vision. Provincial Minister for Communications Malik Sohaib Bharth, accompanied by officials of the Ring Road Authority, reviewed ongoing development activities during a detailed visit. Authorities have been directed to complete all maintenance work and plantation drives within two months to enhance road conditions and improve environmental aesthetics. The initiative aims to ensure safer and more efficient travel facilities for commuters. Additionally, strict enforcement against over-speeding has been ordered to enhance road safety. Officials stated that continuous efforts are underway to develop modern, well-maintained, and sustainable road infrastructure across Lahore.
