Khawaja Salman Rafique reviews security plan for Good Friday and Easter across Punjab

Punjab: Chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order Khawaja Salman Rafique visited the Home Department control room to review security arrangements for Good Friday and Easter. Officials were briefed that 2,908 events and 3,374 churches across the province are being provided with comprehensive security. High-resolution CCTV cameras have been installed at sensitive locations, while district control rooms have been linked with the central system. Authorities have also deployed Rescue 1122, fire brigades and placed hospitals on high alert. The government emphasized strict implementation of SOPs, enhanced checking at entry points and ensuring interfaith harmony. Officials stated that foolproof arrangements are in place to maintain peace during the religious events.
