Punjab Development Program: Rs204bn projects progress across 15 districts

Punjab: The Housing Department shared a weekly SITREP on the Punjab Development Program, highlighting progress on Rs204 billion worth of projects across 15 districts. Officials stated that continuous 24-hour monitoring is underway on the directives of the Chief Minister to ensure timely completion before the monsoon season. Sargodha leads with 30.2 percent completion, followed by Okara (26%), DG Khan (21.7%) and Jhang (20.2%). Other districts including Gujrat, Hafizabad, Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Multan also reported steady progress. Authorities emphasized accelerating work speed and urged citizens to follow safety SOPs near construction sites. The initiative aims to improve infrastructure and reduce urban challenges across Punjab.
