Suthra Punjab expands cleaning drive across Lahore

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore operations teams have completed washing activity at the entry and exit points of Babu Sabu to provide citizens with a cleaner and healthier urban environment. In Nishtar Town, manual and mechanical washing activities are also continuing, with more than 1,500 workers and officers working in three shifts. Hundreds of vehicles and loader rickshaws are ensuring sanitation, sweeping, and door-to-door waste collection. Washing, sweeping, and waste clearance have been completed on major roads and in several areas, while multiple sanitation hotspots have also been cleared. Such cleanliness drives can improve public health, road image, commercial movement, and property surroundings. Can sustained sanitation operations improve Lahore’s urban management standards?
