Dhabeji: Chinese investor Hunan Resources SMC (Private) Limited has resumed operations at its industrial facility in Dhabeji, District Thatta, after a seven-month shutdown, according to published reports. facebook.com The facility had reportedly remained closed since February 2026. In a September 15 letter, the company thanked Pakistan’s Special Investment Facilitation Council for intervention and coordination, saying the support had helped protect its investment and renewed its confidence in continuing operations in Pakistan.
