NADRA Adds Family Digital IDs and New Verification Tools to PakID

Islamabad: NADRA has introduced Pak Identity version 5.8.0, adding new digital identity and verification features for citizens. The update was released on September 24, while NADRA publicly highlighted the new features on September 26. ARY News
Under the updated app, users can now obtain, view, securely store and share the digital IDs of their spouse and eligible children alongside their own digital identity. NADRA’s wider Digital ID system also supports QR-based document sharing and verification. ARY News
Version 5.8.0 also introduces QR verification for Child Registration Certificates (B-Forms) and ID Cancellation Certificates. Users can scan the digital QR code through the PakID app to view verified information. ARY News
The update further adds mobile biometric verification for influenza and meningitis vaccinations linked to Hajj and Umrah requirements. NADRA has advised users to update PakID to access the newly added services.
