WASA resolves long-standing Green Town water issue

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: WASA has resolved a long-standing water supply issue in Green Town’s Five Block Muslim Chowk by installing a new water pipeline instead of repeatedly restoring the old line. Residents had been facing low pressure and contaminated water for a long time despite multiple complaints and repair attempts. After Vice Chairman WASA Chaudhry Shahbaz Ahmed took notice, the Green Town WASA team became active and laid a new pipeline, improving water pressure and ensuring cleaner public water supply. Residents thanked WASA for addressing the problem. The development matters because reliable water infrastructure directly improves residential living standards, public health, property value, and confidence in civic services. Can targeted utility upgrades improve urban life across Lahore’s underserved areas?
