Samanabad’s Jammu Wala and Shakir Road residents demand urgent road repairs

Lahore: Residents of Samanabad have raised concerns over the poor condition of the road located between Jammu Wala Road and Shakir Road, where potholes, broken patches, stagnant rainwater, and drainage issues are creating serious difficulties for commuters. Citizens say rickshaws and motorcycles frequently face tyre punctures due to damaged road surfaces, while rainwater remains standing after showers because of the weak sewerage system. Local residents claim they have repeatedly submitted complaints to different departments, but repair work has not yet started. The deteriorating road condition is affecting daily mobility, nearby households, small businesses, and public safety. Will authorities take action to restore this important neighborhood route?
