Punjab reviews development schemes, focuses on education and skills projects

Lahore: A high-level meeting chaired by Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb reviewed departmental performance and annual development schemes across Punjab under the directives of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Officials assessed progress in education, skills development, and industry-related projects, including cadet colleges, vocational training centers, and AI-based schools. The meeting emphasized timely completion of schemes and efficient utilization of allocated budgets. Authorities also reviewed initiatives such as youth employability programs, e-bikes for teachers, and bicycles for students. Development of industrial parks and universities in various districts was also discussed. Officials stated that the government is prioritizing education reforms, employment opportunities, and infrastructure development to ensure sustainable growth and improved public services.
