Punjab reviews development progress across 15 districts, orders early completion

Muhammad Muzamil Awan: Lahore: A high-level review meeting chaired by Secretary Housing Noorul Amin Mengal assessed progress under the Chief Minister’s Development Program across 15 districts. Officials presented updates showing varying completion levels, with Sargodha at 47.6 percent, Okara at 40.5 percent, and Jhang at 37.5 percent among the leading districts. The meeting focused on maintaining construction quality, accelerating timelines, and ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols at all sites. Authorities emphasized completing projects before deadlines and avoiding any compromise on standards. The initiative aims to strengthen infrastructure delivery, improve urban services, and ensure effective execution of development works across Punjab.
