Punjab releases budget for Lahore development projects including PFA House and healthcare buildings

Lahore: The Punjab Finance Department has released budget funds for multiple development projects in Lahore after approval from the Punjab Assembly. According to details, Rs. 49 million has been issued for the construction of Punjab Food Authority House, while Rs. 52 million has been released for establishing a wildlife hospital at Safari Zoo. The department has also issued Rs. 379 million for Tianjin University and Rs. 40 million for the construction of the Healthcare Commission building. Officials say the funds have been transferred to the accounts of the relevant departments and DDOs to ensure timely progress on these projects. Such public infrastructure spending can support institutional development, construction activity, employment, and urban service improvement. Can timely funding help complete these projects faster?
