Punjab Govt Announces Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle Across Departments

Lahore: The Punjab government has issued a notification announcing a large-scale bureaucratic reshuffle involving several administrative and departmental positions. According to the orders, multiple additional deputy commissioners, deputy secretaries and senior officers have been transferred or appointed to new roles across districts including Bahawalpur, Khanewal, Mianwali and Sargodha. Changes were also made in key departments such as sports, public health, education, social welfare and specialised healthcare. Authorities said the reshuffle aims to improve administrative efficiency and strengthen governance across provincial institutions. Officials added that such transfers are part of routine administrative adjustments to ensure effective service delivery and better coordination among departments.
