Punjab completes rural road rehabilitation in Rahim Yar Khan

Rahim Yar Khan: The Punjab Communication and Works Department has completed the construction and rehabilitation of roads in Rahim Yar Khan district under the Local Roads Programme. The initiative, carried out on the directions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, includes improved road surfaces, modern lane markings and designated school crossings. The upgraded roads are intended to provide rural communities with safer, smoother and more convenient travel facilities while strengthening connectivity between villages and nearby urban centres. The development forms part of the provincial government’s “Sarkain Bahaal, Punjab Khushhaal” and “Sohnay Pind, Sohnian Sarkaan” initiatives aimed at improving transport infrastructure across rural Punjab.
