PP-153 projects worth Rs5.6bn reviewed in Lahore

Lahore: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique chaired an important meeting at the office of Assistant Commissioner Cantonment Tehsil to review progress on multiple development projects underway in PP-153. Assistant Commissioner Syeda Sunbul, LDA Director Haroon Saifi, WASA, MCL, SNGPL, Cantonment Board Lahore officials, and contractors attended the meeting. Officials briefed that the Harbanspura to Phatak Saddar Cantt trunk sewerage project is being executed at a cost of around Rs4.5 billion, while development works worth Rs1.10 billion are underway in Amina Park, Union Council 148, including tube wells, street repairs, sewerage, and clean water supply. The minister directed timely completion with no compromise on quality. Can these projects improve basic services and urban livability in the area?
