Pakistan Railways Launches Special Tourist Train for Thar Desert

Pakistan Railways has announced the launch of a special tourist train service to promote tourism in the Thar Desert region. The train will operate from Karachi to Khokhrapar Zero Point, offering passengers a unique opportunity to experience the scenic landscapes of Thar.According to officials, the train will depart from Karachi Cantonment Station at 9:00 am on December 20, reaching Chhor by 5:00 pm. Passengers staying overnight will be provided with camping facilities, bonfire, music, and dinner, while optional guest house accommodation will be available at an additional cost.On December 21, the train will depart from Chhor at 7:00 am, travel to Zero Point, and serve breakfast before sightseeing. The service will return to Karachi by 6:00 pm, completing the tour.
