The plan aims to create a structured automotive re-export hub that can support trade, investment, and regional market access. Officials say the model could improve logistics, attract private sector participation, and strengthen Pakistan’s position in the regional automotive business. The initiative matters because a regulated re-export system can generate commercial activity, support warehousing, transport, customs services, and industrial zones. It may also increase demand for logistics infrastructure, vehicle yards, repair facilities, and commercial real estate near ports and trade corridors.
