NHA Increases M-2 Motorway Toll Charges by 7%, Cars to Pay Rs1,430

The National Highway Authority (NHA) has raised toll charges on the M-2 Motorway by seven percent, effective immediately. Under the revised structure, car tolls have increased to Rs1,430, vans to Rs2,390, coasters to Rs3,350, buses to Rs4,770, large trailers to Rs6,210, and agricultural machinery to Rs7,980. The update also changes the per-kilometre charges: car drivers will now pay Rs3.98 per km and van operators Rs6.68 per km. The increase is part of NHA’s annual review and is expected to affect thousands of commuters and commercial transport operators using the corridor regularly.
